The first WILTA Workshops for 2010!
Based on member feedback, the first workshops for 2010 will be held on a Friday afternoon. This is a great opportunity for members who have previously been unable to attend a Saturday workshop to network and collaborate with fellow Indonesian teachers and engage in quality professional learning. Of course, we hope to see regular attendees as well!
WILTA Members will also have the chance to meet this year's Language Assistant Program (LAP) participants. The LAPs are talented young Indonesians who will be working alongside a number of teachers of Indonesian in public schools throughout the year. You may remember Bobby and Paulina from last year's program, and you can read a surat dari Bobbyby following this link.
Further, we are very pleased to announce that Bapak Syarief Syamsuri, Consul-General of the Republic of Indonesia, Perth will be giving an address on “Indonesia-Australia Bilateral Relations”. We are looking forward to the opportunity to welcome Bapak Syarief Syamsuri to Perth and hear his plans for the future.
There is a $10 discount for early birds who register before Friday 12 February.
A delicious Indonesian lunch is included in the workshop fee.
Payments may be made via cheque, direct bank deposit, PayPal or credit card (this is secure). Please note that registrations with payments made via direct deposit/cheque may be delayed due to processing time.
PayPal or credit card payments will incur an additional administration fee of $2 (registration is instant).
