Dear Teachers Once again, it is with great pleasure that the WILTA committee extend an invitation to your school to participate in the fourth annual Kompetisi Klip-2; an Indonesian language video competition. This year, Kompetisi Klip-klip has been reimagined by the WILTA membership as part of our Term 2 Workshop on Listening, Speaking and Responding tasks. The aim, categories and judging criteria have been reworked thanks to the contribution of many WILTA members. A great turnout to our last workshop for the year and AGM. Thanks to Marlee for her organisation and Erin for hosting us at Canning Vale College. Grant Porteus shared lots of great ideas to engage students and 'Make Learning Fun!' Then we had Kagumi, an Indonesian Language Assistant, share her experiences so far this year and teach us the Tari Piring dance and also how to make the students' costumes. The power point will be added to the languages connect community. After our 'enak sekali' morning tea we heard from the Wise Men of WILTA who each shared their language experience journey and imparted their words of wisdom. A welcome from the consul general of Indonesia, Ibu Dewi, and then we held the AGM. Welcome to new members of the committee and if anyone would like the opportunity to become the president of WILTA, the position is still vacant... Lorna Colquhoun It's that time of the year again.
