3 ways to join
​There are many benefits to joining WILTA.

Members may nominate office bearers, stand for office, vote or list agenda items for consideration by the WILTA membership.

Become a WILTA Member

There are two options for joining WILTA.
1) As a member of the Language Teachers Association of Western Australia (LTWA) the umbrella organisation in Western Australia for uni-lingual associations. LTWA is affiliated with the Australian Federation of Modern Language Teachers' Associations (AFMLTA).
2) As an individual WILTA member

Join LTWA and WILTA for $95

Rolling membership takes place twice a year (March and August).
Receive:
  • LTWA newsletter
  • Babel, the AFMLTA journal each term
  • Discounts for both WILTA and LTWA workshops
  • Representation
To join both LTWA and WILTA, visit the LTWA website and follow the instructions given there.
There may be a significant delay between joining LTWA and having your WILTA membership confirmed. ​Please forward your receipt for MLTAWA payment to [email protected], and it can be processed.

WILTA Membership is for one year from the joining date. There are three categories of membership.
  • Full members
  • Student members
  • Life Members

​We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
