Categories

Bersandiwara: A play, re-enactment, story or performance
Bernyanyi: A song sung by students, music video or recorded live performance
Pidato: A formal speech in Indonesian on a topic of your choice

Primary School

Age groups: K-2 / 2-4 / 5-6
Categories: Bersandiwara / Bernyanyi
Group size: Maximum 35 participants
Winners: 6 winning groups, 1 of which is Overall Primary School Winner*

Middle School

Age groups: 7-8 / 9-10
Categories: Bersandiwara / Bernyanyi
Group size: 3-6 participants
Winners: 4 winning groups, 1 of which is Overall Middle School Winner*

Upper School

Age group: 11-12 only
Category: Pidato
Group size: Individual participant only
Winners: Overall winner and runner up*

Requirements on all videos:

Max length: 3-minutes
Must include: Opening and Closing tinyurl.com/2018kk2
Language: Predominantly in spoken/sung Indonesian, produced by participants
Max entries: 2 submissions for each school per category per age group (IE 2 x Year 7-8 Bernyanyi, etc)
Submission deadline: 4pm Wednesday 27 June 2018 (last week of Term 2)

Prizes

*Judging will be impartial. Judges' decision is final. Judges reserve the right to have 'no winner' in a category, if the category has no deserving winners.

Primary School (Each winning group): $300 catered lunch for participants, $200 for Indonesian Dept
Primary School (Overall winner): Additional $200 for Indonesian Dept.
Middle School (Each winning group): $300 cash prize (split evenly), $200 for Indonesian Dept
Middle School (Overall winner): Additional $300 cash prize (split evenly), additional $200 for Indonesian Dept
Upper School (Overall winner): $1,000 cash prize, $200 for Indonesian Dept
Upper School (Runner-up): $500 cash prize, $100 for Indonesian Dept

The winners of KK2 have been announced! The winners will be going to the Indonesian Consulate on 17/9, and be presented with their prizes. Well done and congratulations for all those who entered.
