Funding is available to a WILTA member to travel to Bali for a three-week professional development
opportunity during January 2019 and work with the Indonesian Australian Language Foundation (IALF) and a group of local schools. Is 2019 your year for the RTV?
WILTA has established the Reciprocal Teacher Visit programme to achieve the following outcomes:

Snapshots of "What Inspires You?" Sundowner. It was very successful and the speakers were definitely inspirational.
WILTA Sundowner - Friday 24th August
The theme for the Sundowner is "What inspires you?" and will have two guest speakers talking about their inspirations.

Jack Collard is a recent graduate from Wesley College, studying political science at UWA. He also recently won the Indonesian speech competition through the Indonesian Embassy and is part of the Indonesian Language Ambassador Program at BBIP.
Nathan Harvey is the Head of Languages at Willeton SHS, which offers 5 languages and has a 20% retention-rate in Year 11/12 Languages. He won the Hilde Dixon award in 2017 and his Principal won the Principal's award - both for excellence in language teaching. Nathan is now the Vice President of the Australian Federation of Modern Language Teacher Associations (AFMLTA).
